About Us

MasterPro Roofing and Exteriors is a locally-owned Akron and Cleveland roofing and home improvement company that gives each and every customer that “personal touch.” While the business was officially founded in 2008, President Ken Smith has more than 25 years of experience in the industry serving hundreds of satisfied clients.

After graduating from Mount Union College, Ken started out as an accountant, and eventually moved into the construction field. He realized many Cleveland contractors didn’t completely understand how to run the financial side of their business. This inspired him to establish his own company, one that cares about customers, sells the best products, delivers excellent workmanship – and does it all at the most efficient price. In addition, Ken’s background in banking and finance helps MasterPro customers understand their financial implications and options.

Ken’s wife, Gina, earned a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the University of Akron. Her experience assists clients with aesthetic decisions that result in well-balanced, visually appealing home exteriors that stand the test of time.

Together, the MasterPro team strives to deliver on sales and then the installation, and to run a fiscally tight operation that keeps prices affordable for every customer. We look forward to many more years of “Improving Akron & Cleveland, One Home at a Time”!
